Public Lands – Access for All

In the Treasure State, our public lands are one of our greatest treasures.

In the 2015 legislative session, I supported a bi-partisan study bill, HJ13, to figure out why we were losing so much access to public lands.

What we learned is that nearly 10,000 miles of roads on public lands have been closed by the USFS in the past ten years, one-third of the roads on public lands.

This is unacceptable. No only are public lands our lands, but many Montanans feed their families through hunting and fishing.

I grew up in a hunting and fishing family so I understand exactly what that means. And the impact of the public lands road closures has on so many Montanans who have lost access to trails and recreation areas.

Montana’s public lands should be open to the public because they belong to all of us.

Support for Debra During Livingston Parade Overwhelming

Posted by: Vote Debra Lamm Volunteer

Support for Debra’s re-election campaign was over-whelming during Livingston’s 2016 Rodeo Round-up Parade, held downtown on Independence Weekend. Young and old turned out to support Debra as she walked in the parade, handing out candy and American flags to children throughout the city. Cheers from spectators along the parade route made the long, hot walk worth every step!

Debra’s leadership in building the crowd-pleasing “Park Republicans” parade float, featuring a working geyser and a soaring eagle, won First Place in the “Patriotic” category.

Congratulations to Debra, the Park Republicans and all of the volunteers who helped make the parade a success!

Letter to Friends in House District 60

Dear Friends,

It’s about freedom. As Montanans and Americans, there is nothing more basic or more important.

But freedom means not being held back by the chains of over-regulation and over-taxation. The very least we owe each other is the opportunity to make a living.

It’s time to loosen the chains and let good old American ingenuity break free again, and time to bring good jobs and high wages back to Montana. We need a government we can trust; one that works for us – not against us.

If you choose to send me back to Helena, know that protecting your freedoms and your pocketbooks will be my utmost priority with every vote I take.

It has been an honor to serve you.
— Debra
